- Providing personal assistance with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks
- Assisting the family with transferring or repositioning (turning, walking/ambulation, and exercise) of their loved one
- Providing the family with housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain proper nutrition for the client
- Monitoring, keeping record, and communicating on the client’s condition
- Helping clients with necessities such as escorting them to their doctor appointments, grocery shopping, and preparing meals and snacks
- Helping clients adjust to new equipment needed for mobility and essential tasks, including using modified eating utensils, canes or walkers, etc.
- Following nutrition and security standards for the health and well-being of clients
- Generally looking out for the mental, emotional, and physical health of clients
